Anyway, after a refreshing run and then walk with the doggies, I made a jumbo green smoothie for dinner. It was my standard combo:
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach
- 1 tbs chia
- lots of cinnamon
- almond/soy milk
- couple ice cubes
But, since it is fall, I added two heaping spoonfuls of pumpkin and a spoonful of maple syrup. Mmmhm. Sweeter than my normal smoothie, but still healthy and packed with nutrients. Also, please note the Magic Bullet. You don't need expensive appliances to make good food.
